Lesson 2: Discovering Your Personality Type

Objective: To reflect on possibilities for your personality type

In this lesson, you will consider the possibilities for your personality type

Keirsey's four temperament types can be divided into four personality types each, the sixteen types originally described by Briggs Myers. In this lesson, you will read descriptions of the various types to decide how well the descriptions fit your own personality.

Note: It is fairly usual for us to be confused at first about which is our preference among one or more of the functions. Don't be concerned about this. As your understanding of personality functions progresses and you discuss your type with others, you will eventually become certain about which are your preferred functions.

Assignment 1: Read about the functions of the types.
